PHP

Partial Hospitalization, or PHP, is the most intensive level of outpatient treatment that we offer at Midwest Recovery Center. Our PHP program will help you continue your recovery on a part-time but still intensive basis, designed around your needs as you take the next steps in early recovery.

Whether you are moving from inpatient care or joining a PHP program as the first step of recovery, your individualized treatment plan will meet your strengths and needs as you take the next steps on the path to recovery.

Medical Care

Effective recovery programs treat the mental, physical and spiritual aspects of addiction. Our comprehensive therapy plan focuses on the mental and spiritual sides of care, but your physical needs will be seen to as well.

You will be seen and assessed by our on-site nurse practitioner, who will administer care during your treatment. Any necessary medications will be delivered on site, and every patient has access to psychiatric care when needed.

Intense Therapy Plan

During our PHP program, we will engage each individual in an intense, individualized therapy plan, delivered in group and individual settings.

Addiction is isolating, groups allow you to break down barriers, and learn to share and communicate in an open and honest manner. Group members offer their own personal insights and experiences to approach and solve problems from different angles. Individual therapy is also available when appropriate.

With the structure and security from the program, you can begin to take control from your addictions, and move forward. Your therapist will be selected for your needs, matched with their education, experience and expertise. Our staff is well-trained, knowledgeable and aware of new developments in the field.

Family and Community Health

At Midwest Recovery Center, we not only help each individual work on themselves, but we work to give you the tools to mend broken relationships, heal damaged families and allow you to to be an engaged, positive force in your community.

Family therapy and support is a cornerstone of our treatment. We offer various support services for any of your loved ones. Family support groups meet on a regular basis, where our staff work on helping your family understand addiction, create healthy strategies for support and identify how to establish healthy boundaries.

A Focus on Wellness

While you are in treatment, you are healing mentally, spiritually and physically. While you may not be dealing with acute withdrawal, substance abuse can have long-term physical withdrawal effects, and can lead to neglect of the physical condition, malnutrition and discomfort.

We provide you with a variety of wellness services, including on-site visits from yoga teachers, chiropractors, exercise instructors and massage therapists. You will have access to group exercise classes and the ability to use your local gym or fitness facility, when appropriate.

Food may be served on-site, and healthy snacks will be provided. Case managers will work with you on nutritional education and grocery shopping, creating healthy meal ideas and shopping lists.

Continuing Treatment: IOP

It is our firm belief that the longer you stay in treatment, the more successful your long term recovery will be. Your therapist and case manager will work with you, assessing your strengths and needs, to determine the correct plan for you.

IOP

At Midwest Recovery Center, our Intensive Outpatient program is designed to provide you with the support you need as you begin steps towards independence. Whether you are stepping down your treatment or entering IOP as your initial step, our team will create an individualized plan based around your needs during early recovery.

Therapy Plan

At Midwest Recovery Center, our IOP program focuses on helping you use the tools and skills you learn in treatment to deal with the situations and stresses you encounter during early recovery.

Your therapy groups will be a resource you can rely on. Group members will encounter the same situations, make the same mistakes and find the same successes as you. Watching and helping those around you have meaningful breakthroughs will help you find the same fulfillment, as you will be helped in turn.

Along with your group meetings, you will meet with a therapist on an individual basis as well. These sessions will help provide accountability and ensure that you are taking substantial, healthy steps towards taking control of your life.

Living Recovery / Life Steps

During the IOP program you will have the opportunity to begin taking more complete control over your life. We will help you take each step, developing positive life skills along the way.

At Midwest Recovery Center we will help you set clear goals and provide support as you begin taking important steps to regaining complete independence.

Our therapists will work with you to determine the healthiest steps as you begin returning to regular life. We will work with you at every step to ensure you have the support and backing you need during early recovery.

Family Support

We believe it is important to involve your loved ones in recovery when it is healthy and appropriate. It is part of our philosophy to begin healing the family unit as well as each individual in our care. These sessions will help educate your family on strategies to promote long term recovery, set healthy boundaries and fix your unhealthy relationships

Your loved ones will also have access to family support groups, to help them interact with other families with the same goals as well. These groups focus on psycho-education, so your family can become a resource for your long term recovery.

Regular drug testing is required to stay in our care, as we believe each added layer of accountability provides support for long term recovery.
